Nearer, Ecommerce platform integrations

Nearer sits between ecommerce platforms, payments, and local communities. Integrations are not a feature, they are the product.

We’re looking for a Product Manager who owns how Nearer connects to ecommerce platforms over time, starting with Shopify and expanding from there.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable close to APIs, edge cases, and real platform constraints.

What you’ll do

• Own the integrations roadmap across ecommerce platforms
• Lead Shopify integration depth first, then expand to other platforms over time
• Define how Nearer integrates at checkout, pre-checkout, and post-checkout
• Work closely with engineering to design, build, and ship integrations
• Read and work from API docs, platform limits, and technical constraints
• Make clear trade-offs between speed, quality, and platform rules
• Track adoption and performance of integrations once live

• You understand that platform work is messy and constraint-driven
• You can make decisions with incomplete information
• You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical people

Experience we’re looking for

• Product management experience on platform or integration-heavy products
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and ecommerce flows
• Experience working with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms
• Comfort working closely with engineers day to day
• Experience in early-stage or fast-moving teams is a plus
