Community Manager
Nearer, Local community partnerships
Nearer helps local communities receive support through everyday online purchases. We work with schools, clubs, and small local groups that are often too local or too small to access traditional funding.
We’re looking for a Community Manager who can onboard, support, and grow our network of community organisers. This role is about trust, clarity, and follow-through.
What you’ll do
- Onboard new community organisers onto Nearer
- Guide organisers through setup, verification, and going live
- Be the main point of contact for community questions and support
- Help identify and recruit high-quality local groups
- Make sure communities understand how funds are raised and used
- Capture feedback and patterns, then feed that back into product and process
- Create simple onboarding guides, FAQs, and templates as we grow

Experience we’re looking for
- Experience working with community groups, organisers, or member-based organisations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in onboarding, customer success, or community support
- Comfortable working remotely and async
- Experience in early-stage products or platforms is a plus
